Call for Papers

The University of Cienfuegos "Carlos Rafael Rodríguez" has the honor to invite authorities, academics, researchers, students, entrepreneurs and specialists from various fields to participate in the IV International Scientific Convention. The most important event of our institution, with the motto "For an innovative university within the framework of the 2030 Agenda", this edition seeks to promote the exchange of knowledge, experiences and good practices, as well as to foster the projection of action lines that contribute to decision-making and the advancement of scientific research. Its thematic axes are linked to the 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), reaffirming our commitment to sustainable development and innovation.

The presentation languages for the papers will be Spanish and English. The first page must contain identification data: title of the paper, thematic axis, name(s) and surname(s) of author(s), academic degree, institution, phone number and email. The abstract must have a maximum length of 250 words and up to 5 keywords. Additionally, the justification of the work, the general objective, the theoretical approach, the methodology and the research results must be stated. The paper must have a maximum of 6 pages, including tables and figures. Papers must be submitted in Microsoft Word format, letter size (8.5 x 11), single-spaced, margins of 2.5 cm, justified, written in Arial font, size 12.

    The first page must include: title, author details (names and surnames), affiliations (when different, indicate with consecutive numeric superscripts), address, country, e-mail.

  • Poster

    Size: 1.20 meters (vertical) x 0.82 meters (horizontal). The Poster must contain: title of the work, author details (names and surnames, institutional affiliation, e-mail, country), an abstract, justification of the work, the general objective, the theoretical approach, the methodology and research results.

PUBLICATION OF ARTICLES


The Scientific Committee of each workshop will select the best experiences presented for adaptation and subsequent publication in the scientific journals of the University of Cienfuegos "Carlos Rafael Rodríguez".

  • Papers must be uploaded to the event platform: eventos.ucf.edu.cu, selecting the workshop, symposium or forum where you wish to participate.

  • IMPORTANT DATES


    • Paper submission will begin on June 29, 2026.
    • Submission of abstracts and/or papers for evaluation is until August 31, 2026.
    • Confirmation of accepted papers will be until September 8, 2026.
    • Final submission of accepted papers will be until September 18, 2026.
    • Deadline for payment, October 8, 2026.
