Dear Participant,
From February 24th to the 26th, you will have the opportunity to express your opinions and insights about the papers presented by your colleagues under the different sections created in the Colloquium.
On Day 1, you will make comments about Sections 1 & 2: “CEFR and Language teaching and training”, and “Teacher Training”. We will set a Forum section so you can give opinions and exchange with the authors about the experiences presented.
On Days 2 & 3, the same Forum sections will be created to provide discussion about the papers under the sections: “EFL Teaching & Testing” & “Environmental Education & Language Teaching”.
You will always have to refer to the code of the paper (letters and number starting the title of each paper) you are giving your opinions about, so the other participants can follow your ideas!

Abstract
Students of any subject may feel apprehensive about being in class, but the fear potential can increase when the subject is a foreign language, where even to say 'I don't know' or 'I don't understand' can be an ordeal in itself. In a learning situation, fear and confidence are in an inverse relationship with each other. The more we can reduce fear, the more we can instil confidence. There is a belief that there are aspects of language teaching methodology which lend themselves to successful reduction of fear and increase in confidence. A simple recognition that fun activities and games are an authentic way of learning is a good start. Examples of other successful classroom strategies will be provided.Ken blogs at http://kenwilsonelt.wordpress.com
Ken Wilson is an ELT trainer and author. He has trained teachers in more than fifty countries and written more than thirty ELT titles, including a dozen series of course books.
